i have been trying to search the thread on putting RA6x front struts into an RT142 for neg camber but i can't find it. can anyone tell me whether it is necessary to use the longer MA61 lower control arms or would i still be able to use the standard corona ones.

how do struts change camber?
you need to use longer LCA's such as RA40's or move the strut top in.

i have 340mm LCA's in my celica and it gives me over 3 deg.

Depends on the design of the strut and stub axle attachment.

e.g. Fitting a RA60 strut into a MA61 (without changing LCA's) gives you about 2 degrees neg camber - all for about $22 and some labour !!!!

Cheap, easy and legal !!

can n e one give me a list of what cars i can get the longer LCA's off. Ma61's are damn hard to find at wreckers. There are plenty of Ma70's could i use the LCA's off that.

Also if n e one knows of any MA61's in sydney could u please let me know, it would be a big help
