no... a bug in the game was some dude i was attacking. When stealing his rides, he suddenly went from like 50 lowriders to 180139094259023 lowriders!!
needless to say he was jailed immediately.

Lowriders are for travelling and for drivebys... They are not good for anything else. I don't keep any usually because they can make you a target. eg: Someone with heaps of thugs can come in, wipe out your army and take your rides to replenish the resources they wasted attacking you.

You don't need lowriders for home invasions... just drivebys and when you are travelling between cities.
I forgot that lowriders help with thug morale a bit but not enough to warrant keeping them for that sole purpose.

ATM I have 12662 thugs at 90% with no lowriders, I am just pimpin and buying AK-47's (about 20000 ATM). I want to keep off the radar until I have a big enough arsenal to do some real damage towards the end of the round.

When I go offline, my hoe's are at 97% Happyness and profit. When I go online I drop them down to 1% profit and they stay at around 88% happyness. Mind you I am only online for about ten to twenty minutes at a time

AK's - they can't be stolen and if you need to sell them they are worth a bit...
How can you tell if a pimp has loads of cash??
Up until now I've been stealing a few hoes here a few hoes there and building up a collection of AK's for a major assult planned for next Monday. But I'm looking now at attacking via home invasion to get some cash but only seem to get a few hundred dollars for my trouble.
I might take my hoes on holiday and see what happens but I think I'll be a major target where ever I go.

They determin if a pimp is out of your range by your networth. If they are too low, you can't beat on them.
As for hitting pimps for cash, I find the best way is to wait for them to be online. Sit on their info page and keep refreshing watching their thugs. As soon as their thugs take a dip (and their "attacked by" status doesn't change - ie. when they attack someone) hit them for all you have. This usualy means they have just aquired some cash, and have lost some thugs making them an easier target.
I usualy have 4 windows open. 1 with their status, 1 with my driveby attack all set up, 1 with my gun shop open, and 1 with my home invasion ready to go. As soon as I see their status change, I go to the next page and hit driveby, then go to the next page and buy as many pimps as I can afford, then go to the next page and hit home invasion. Then keep home invading and buying more thugs untill you stop making money.
Edit: Oh and while you are hitting them, make sure you spend most of the money you make each time, otherwise they may be able to hit you back.

i like drivebys!
pick a pimp with heaps of lowriders, ammass your forces about 10% greater than theirs with at least 1 lowrider per 6 thugs - and BAM! you can kill their entire army in one attack! then sell a few AK's, buy back some thugs so you have enough thugs to walk back in and pinch all their lowriders in one hit. Thats how i ended up with over 30,000 lowriders last nite!

Anyone having luck with decimating a complete army from any of the top 25?
Witzl seems to be on the right track... I'm massing AK's whislt just keeping enought thugs to keep the Hoes happy (and For the odd attack) I got nailed hard today so I'm going back to my little plan of stockpiling weapons and Hoes and trying to keep a low profile. I hammered 3 of the ITM guys until they were "out of range" but they got me back overnight. I want to get to the point where I can have about 50,000 AK's and then come on with full turns, cash up, get thugs, lowriders then start from the bottom up...
I'm going to finish in the top 25

scout for hoes to start with, use the cash to buy thugs and guns. you need about 2:1 thug to hoe or better to keep the hoes happy.
Start off small, Buy the AK guns as they can't be stolen and then watch the pimps around you for losses and go and boost rides and steal hoes when the pimp has no thugs.
