Yeah it makes it hard for non paying people... but then so does gaving up in crews of 40+ or taking advantage of a bug in the game to get serveral billion thugs and then smash members of other teams.
I think the idea of teams is probably the worst thing.
If it was pimp on pimp then it would be a more even playing field but with the bigger teams you attack one pimp and you get 30 something trying to bust a cap in yo ass!

What does it mean when it says "That pimp is out of your range"?

I had two mofo's attack me and they are both out of range or show protection for 4 turns.....wtf ?
I have had two others attack me and both got whipped badly, they lost 294 thugs to my 0 thugs, gotta love those AK-47's.

yep, we just have to send an invitation
as for the best method of attack - this is how i do it (with about 2-3 windows open).
1. make sure i have almost as many thugs as other homo
2. have as many or more ak's than thugs
3. home invasion, or if i have at least 1 lowrider per 6 thugs, driveby. Drivebys seem to kill more people
4. if say i lose 2000 thugs, i sell 500 ak's to get $1,875,000 and immediately buy 1875 thugs
5. attack again. Check after each attack in another window what their status is like
6. repeat steps 3-5 until they have no thugs.
7. Boost ALL their lowriders
8. Sell off some lowriders to buy back some AK's
If you are quick enough, you will have wasted their entire thugs and lowriders before they even know you have attacked!
I did this all morning - wasted about 5-6 ITM homo's.
