Whats the go? looks like you and spanktown are in direct competition with each other if your getting the gt2535
Lets put bets on who's will be quicker!
I vote spanktown! Only cause he already has GHETTO respect! ( check defenition 3 above ) hahaha!
Just buy a fully done up aw11 and bring it back!!!

l0l dont be too sure
when i was looking for stuff to buy the guy i spoke 2 didnt speak english but they usually understand you when you write down model numbers. So i wrote on a piece of paper `4agze` which he didnt understand so i wrote `AW11` and before i could even write "MR2" they all started shouting and laughing then a girl who spoke english piped up and ran over saying really i have an aw11 too. I saw another one on the way home was a nice g-limited supercharged with watanabee rims.

screw all u's always have money spend on ur aw11s
i never have any spare change for even little mods on my car
looking for pads these days searching for heavy street/light track stuff and now i realised i cant even afford them (ferodo ds2500 $180, racebrakes rb74 $160, ebc green $140 etc...). think im just gonna get cheap $30 pads again.
my turbo conversion is out aswell. just realized it will cost closer to 3g for simple setup. inially thought i get away with bout $1500-2000
man soon i will be the only non-turbo aw11 here

gotta question
i think i have bricks in my fueltank.
my guage gets to empty real quick and it only takes about 30L to get it back to full. most i've ever filled in my car was bout 35L and it was way below E and warning light was on for a while
the other day it was slightly above E and my car was stalling already
reckon i have heaps off junk in the tank. what u guys reckon? is there a drain plug on these that i can try get some off the shit out?

As for your problems MK1SC.....We all started out somewhere. My car used to be a NA POS! Now its just a tubo POS! And beleive me, i dont think you want to spend the amount of money that some of us have spent on our cars Ive spent heaps and it still isnt working right

I'm really hoping to get there, but things have been popping up left, right and centre. I'll know more after this weekend.
I think we really should take all conversations about this off the board and on to email. If anyone reads the thread and wants to come along they can pm one of us to get on the email.
Did everyone get the email I sent round? Is everyone too shy to make the first reply?

Fat,
I better be ready but yep that would be good.
Mk1sc i totally agree with fat, for me is does not matter how modified it is you can have fun in any AW11. But like most people on this forum we love to modify and personalise our rides.
In my experience the more you modify the more probs you will have but also the more fun you will have, that is every trip will be an adventure. I love the way i can get in my stock NA and it starts first time every time as it has over the last 15 years and idles smoothly etc etc i also love the way i can get in the SC its hard, noisy, twitchy and so much faster by comparison, black lines on command, and sucks down premium faster than i could have ever imagined, but again its all part of the fun !

I was dissapointed with the quality of the digital photos on my video camera i guess next time ill use my phone they come out alot better. I have heaps of video footage so ill put together some video of my trip when i get back. Im gonna try and get out to a D1 gran prix event on the 4-5th may aswell as a Super GT event. I found out where they do the illegal drifting and drag racing in tyokyo so if i can organise a ride by friday night ill get some pictures of that.
Tomorrow morning im going on the Shinkasen (bullet train) to tsukuba circuit to see if there is anything going on there.

Toof,
I got onto Dave but he cant remember the specs in detail but this is basically his thoughts on the matter.
Wheel alignments are specific from car to car and more specifically driver to driver. There are heaps of other variables including wheel and tyre size , suspension mods including lowering, spring rates, sway bars, mounts, tyre pressures types of road and intended use etc etc
He could not provide any specific settings as they vary so much.
The obvious thing is camber, if the tyres are wearing too much on the inside it has too much neg camber and if they are wearing too much on the outside then its most likely not enough negative camber.
Final words were that any good suspension joint should be able to read the wear on the tyres and establish with the owner what they need. i know that does not give you anything concrete but talk to the wheel aligner before he lets loose on the car

I will be keen as, to get my car out to WSID as soon as I have it up and running nicely.
At the moment I'm waiting to get all the bits back from the machine shop so I can put the beast together. Mind you then I need to see about modifying the HKS TO4S SW20 kit I bought so I can fit the thing in my AW11.
It should be interesting when all is said and done. The guys at SAS had a SW20 with a built Gen3 and GT30 on it a while back. The thing put down 198KW on 0.7bar of boost. At the moment I am stuck with 550cc injectors so I don't expect to be getting over 240rwKw until I upgrade those.
