does anyone know a little about the radiator system on these, mine is currently sitting up on jack stands in the garage, I have a hole in my main metal pipe that runs down the length of the car, is there anybody who knows about replaceing these pipes, I tried toyota and they can't get the parts anymore, can you go somewhere that can bend pipe to get a replacent made, either that or I'll weld the hole up, for the moment.

tell me guys would it be easier to change a headgasket, by either: leaving the motor in the engine bay and taking the head off, or removeing the engine again to change it.

Looks like that bit of worn pipe did more damage than I wanted. head gaskets gone, lets go for a re-rebuild only 700kms later yay..... I am gonna cry Crying or Very Sad Crying or Very Sad Crying or Very Sad

The previous owner did the work but I am pretty sure its an Supercharged MR2 box. I had to rebuild it and I discovered its the same box as a Celica st185 minus the transfer case. (I actually used the celica manual to rebuild it). Thats why the SC MR2 gearboxes are so fucking strong!

Also if you ever need to rebuild your box make sure you get the upgraded synchros for 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. The rings are about $60-70 each. But totally worth it.

WOW this is great. Fatmr2 your aw11 is a real sleeper. Nice one! Have you been down the 1/4 mile? how'd you go?

Benjamin T Tops are cool, but they are a bit overrated. Leaking problems. Im about to try some silicone spray to rejuvinate the seals on mine. After heavy rain you get in the and it smells and you get a wet right bum cheek.
Oh and you still have to store them behind the seat.

Miss MR2 - do you get around hamilton/Mayfield a bit? do you have a TRD sticker near the rear pillar? I tink i saw ur car being driven by an L plater the other day

thats what I am thinking of doing with mine, since it needs a respray really badly, I am tossing up whether to go toyota red, which is that metalic burgendy color of thiers, or going a dark orange color, was thinking of going original red, but red sucks cause it is affected by UV and weather soo easy, it wouldn't last as long.

Has he cut all the fins out from the side vent. That looks so sweet. I really need a new colour on my car.

It's had the fins removed and the outer lip extended.

Hey toof do you know the girl that owns the red AW11 with XX 247 plates. she flew past me today and I tried to catch her for a cruise but she was too quick in and out of traffic like a madwoman (got me excited!) Red with a big ass cannon angled out the back. Looked and sounded great

no i dont but odly enough.... it used to live up the road from me here in mayfield. old chap drove it back and forth from woolies or at least thats all i ever saw. it was for sale over at peter rose motors near waratah high a couple of months ago. since then ive seen a young chick drive it and an older chap. a few months ago i saw it driving without the front bar with the steel front frame bar belted to shit though.

i still have to check out how youve fitted your sub up. i think its time to hook the 2's up with some bass Smile
