I was hoping someone could help me out, I have a Levin 4age bigport in my car atm but its leaking coolant out the back of the head. I also have another bigport 4age in my shed which I'm planning to use the head off, the problem is I don’t know if the one in my shed is the "aussie" 4age.
Is there any difference between the 2, besides the monumental power difference? How do I tell which is which? Will the head off an Aussie one fit to my Jap one in my car? Basically someone please explain the differences to this f00l.
AFAIK the only difference between the 88kW aus bigport and the 96kW JDM bigport is the ECU. The JDM ECU is tuned for higher RON fuel than the aus ECU and so makes a bit more power.
