ke55 - what is the easiest turbo conversion?

Hi guys, only new here. I have a ke55 corolla sedan. What is the easiest turbo engine conversion for this car?

If you want something Toyota, you might be best looking into a 4AGZE (supercharged), otherwise a 3TGTE is probably the 'easiest' to fit, in some ways anyway..
Else, you COULD look at other brand engines

... or you could turbo the 4k in the car now. shouldn't cost too much to do

agreed! the 3t is the easiest of the turbo conversions but having said that 4ag family conversions are also well documented

Hey there mate, have a look around on here in the forsale section, i know a guy was selling a turbo kit for the k series motor, it was a bolt on job, if he sold it, try and rack his brains abit and get the information off him so u can get one made up for you, it wouldnt be 2 hard for a exhaust shop to make up for you......

that was probably john mckenzie... he sold a turbo 5k setup a little while ago. pretty sure it was a blowthru carb job
