Hey ppl!
I have been stripping my trueno these last few days, and am planning on stitch welding b4 i respray the interior...
Has anyone got any pics of their sprinter/trueno with welds?
Or any advice?
Anyone couldn't be $%#^ed learning to use a mig and took it to a panel beater?

it takes a lot of time and patience, i ended up ony doing from the front back to the firewall in mine, then the rear sections between the rear shock mounts, as my roll cage is welded into the car between these points and adds rigidity there, still it took quite a few days of doing to not warp the chassis in the process

hmmm not taken any close ups and now its mostly primered to prevent rust, so its really hard to see. i used a little portable gasless mig, so it took a long time and lotsof practice to get the settings right so as not to blow holes everywhere. i did small areas at a time on eaither side, and did it as small beads made up of 4-5 spot welds next to each other. has taken a long time but i think it will be well worth it
