Found this on marlincrawler 4x4 website, i would assume this is a problem area with R154 if it is a problem with R151 and R150 4WD trannys. I would also assume it will fit the R154, could be wrong though, wouldnt be the first time
Heavy Duty Bearing Cover Plate
Fits R series transmission only (R150F, R151). CNC machined from top quality tool steel and will long out live the factory original. As the factory unit wears out it fails to properly position the main shaft. This heavy duty unit does a much better Job of holding the shaft in the proper position. Includes set of 4 bolts.
