Don't know your engine.
Could be a collapsed water pump or alternator bearing.
Depending on how it is belted take off all belts except alternator and startup. Don't leave running for too long or else overheat.
Sounds front engine.

Oh, saw your other post.
Yeh collapsed supercharger bearings - add that to the list.
Would the engine run/idle without s/c belt? Try it.

Doubtful it's the blower, unless the s/c clutch is hard wired it shouldn't be spinning that fast at idle!!
Sounds like you got stuffed water pump.
Check if you can see a slight wobble in the water pump pulley, that may indicate stuffed bearings.

If the S/C fails:
S/C locks or binds at higher rpm's.
S/C clutch is overloaded and overheats.
Overheated (damaged) bearing in S/C clutch will now make noise at idle even with S/C switched off.
Sometimes the fuse (efi?) will blow if the clutch is shorted to ground.
Please note the IF that started this post.
