Just wanted to know has anyone reused their gaskets. I pulled the intake manifold of and the turbo manifold along with the TPS and plan on re-using the gasket with some gasket silent. I would get new gaskets but I have to wait 8 weeks from Japan. Just want to know has anyone done this before and experience any trouble with doing so. The gaskets are not damaged when i pulled them off. Or has anyone got better idea. Can't use gasket paper on the manifold cause of the design but i will use it on the TPS and turbos..
Unless someone has some for sale on the forum???

what part of the design prevents you from making one out of gasket paper?
you can reuse gaskets, just put a thin film of silastic on it. preferably some better quality stuff like permatex blue or whatever it is.

Hylomar spray dude for your paper gaskets, best stuff out there. i have even re-used a headgasket on a 4agte with the stuff.
for your exhaust/turbo gaskets use Copper Maxx (Ultra Copper), i dont even have a gasket between my manifold-turbo-dump pipe-exhaust flanges, just the Copper Maxx.

There are new gaskets out there I am sure (try Stewart Wilkins Rally in Sydney).
Re-using gaskets is fine - as per above comments.

that copper stuff is pretty sturdy stuff - despite getting the entire exhaust manifold red hot on the 18R, the coppermaxx was still there when i pulled the turbo off the manifold ... it was mostly a fine reddish poweredy crap but at least it hung around unlike the manifold-to-head gasket.

there isn't much chance of re-use if any kind of cement/sealant has been used on them previously, so if you want or might need a third "use" out of them, i wouldn't use the goop.

I've reused gaskets in Aisan carbs without troubles. It sure would suck buying a new gasket every time you changed a jet

i find using silicon sealants (red, grey, etc) on manifold-to-head gaskets makes them come off much easier and in one piece. not sure i'd reuse them, but i could if i needed to..
it does make it much easier to clean the mating surfaces too.
