mod's moving threads Mon, 04 October 2004 12:37 Go to next message
ive noticed that some mods have been moving threads about here and there in some sections, in the SA sections there were numberous threads relating to SA people only, and hyet they get moved to the general discussion thread, where postrs from other people from other states get posted not even related to the original topic,

now im well aware that the state sections are for events and meets only, however there are state RELATED topics that dont need to go into open discussion areas's SO WHY PUT THEM THERE?!!?!

how about, ya mum Razz

Attention

This section is for interstate events and meets only.

Parts, Cars for Sale, Tech questions or any other topics need to be posted in the appropriate section NOT in this one.

If this continues to be abused then it will result in the interstate sections being removed.

See link here: http://forums.toymods.org.au/index.php?t=msg&t h=30864&start=0&rid=883&S=d93d8a0f987d 76a049507ecfd6d501d3

NB: i am not net nazi.

It might seem like a powertrip to you, but i dont think it is. We changed the interstate sections last year to be "interstate cruises and events only" for a reason, i cant remember exactly what it was, but there was a reason. Not everyone on the board has the time and patience to cover the ENTIRE forums which we kindly run for your benefit, so sometimes things get done in a bulk manner.

Cool1 - yes, you are absolutely correct Rolling Eyes

if you honestly want to take up this discussion, i suggest the most direct and formal approach, being emailling the Toymods board. board@toymods.org.au

thanks.

ok so the threads you moved did not consist of a meet or event?

we im sorry but my thread DID acctually consits of an event, the organised day at Mallala, and the preceeding events leading up to it.

If you get the fuck off your high hore you might acctually see that.

for fucks sake, would you rather the general section be cluttered up with these small threads, no, thats why we post them in the RELENAVNT sections, which happens to be the state section in which the post is directed at, not the whole damn community.

and people fucking wonder why im not a paying member yet.....

Simon-AE86 and Cool1 if you choose not to respect the people that put in the effort to run these forums then you can choose not to use them. It's as simple as that.

Simon your thread is not about organising a meet it is you advertising for people to pay you to work on their car so you can go and drift. You work as a "mechanic" and are advertising your services. This really sounds like commercial advertising to me, and as such the thread will be moved again, this time to the deleted threads.

I'm sorry if Toymods are not running our forum the way you want it run for yourself.

That offends me. When have I been disrespectful to you?

You state in your first post that you know the rules however you choose not to follow them. Then you complain that not following the rules leads to the threads being moved.

Then you show the huge respect of insulting and swearing at the people that run the forum that you've made almost 2000 posts on.
