This may be stupid to some but i am after some clear cam cover. I cromed my timing gears and don't feel to good about leaving them with out any cover. I know JSC make some for 7M and they look like the fit(do they??) but they want $140US (ouch)for them... Anyone know how i could make some or where to buy some here...

Thanks ppls

I'm trying to understand... really really trying to understand why you'd want such a thing?

Maybe I'm getting too old...

He doesn't mean the cam cover, he means his top timing cover, he wants it clear so you can see the bling cam gears. Smile

Im chucking perspex into my timing belt cover, so i can see the adjustment which the cam gears are set to. But that said, it is pretty ricy.

From what i gather these are just chromed.... *yay* Neutral

i just remebred!
last years motor show the VW stand had a complete engine displayed with clear plastic block, head and covers but real cams crank rods pistons chain and everything, i learnt a lot from that display (having no knowledge at all of how engines work back then)

anywho, it looked cool!
