2JZ GTE Fuse issue Tue, 05 October 2004 13:04 Go to next message
Hey guys, my first time posting, anyways....
I have a JZA80 94 model supra TT, and its been in the works for a few weeks now, but today i noticed that when i went to start it the ABS warning light stayed on.When i checked the fuse box, i noticed there are 2 fuses in relation to ABS- "ABS 1" and "ABS 2"
Now "ABS 1" has a fuse in it, but "ABS 2" is missing a fuse and there is only 1 pin sticking up from its mounting position, so im wondering whether something is now missing and i have no chance of knowing... Just wondering if any1 else has a supra that i can reference with or some info on wiring to these fuse points...
Thnx

hey, sorry can't help you there.

but i've got a question for you, hehe.
i'm doing a NA to TT conversion on my 96 supra. didn't get the half cut, just the engine and computer. so i'm looking for a stock intercooler and fuel pump. do you have them or know of anyone that does? cheers!

More info required, like what has changed on the car before the issue began.

JZA80TT - NA fuel pumps are the same as the turbo fuel pumps. The fuse box isn't, best of luck with it, you'll need to wire in extra fuses and breakers to accommodate the GTE engine and extra wiring that comes with it.

The ABS issue was sorted but a few days later, apparantly the Japanese RZ does not utilize the "ABS 2" fuse, and i traced my thoughts to where i remember unplugging 2 wires behind the rear seat of the car which, APPARENTLEY (!!!!!), controls the ABS to the rear wheels. My whole setup will change though, with the install of my Haltech E11v2 in a few days time Very Happy
