Hey All,
Just finished rebuilding my mr2. only problem is there is one pipe that we dont know where to connect it to. so if anyone has a gen 2 3sgte around the campbelltown area that can help me out sometime soon, please let me know.

take a pic of where the pipe and motor and post it. I dare say that would be your best bet.

yeah i suppose so. but i dont have a digital camera available, all i have is camera phone, but it just doesnt show up so great. theres also a rubber pipe coming from the intake manifold that we dont know where it goes....plus now im a little less confident that all the other pipes we connected are in the right place.
i will pay for time and petrol consumed. i want my mr2 running for this weekend

mate i would love to help out more, and i would make the trip to show you but mine is map sensor now and i also have stuff all in the engine bay but aftermarket crap now. I also don't run the vsv through the inlet manafold now so i dont think my motor would be any real use to you.
have you looked around on the internet for images of 3sgte's etc...

not a problem mate thanks for your help anyway, the water pipe thats causing me problems is next to the rocker cover near the distributor and it has a green screwy thing next to it. ill have a look on the net for pics of it later on today if i have no luck.

hey mate,
yeah its most of it is sorted....i think...although theres one pipe that comes from the intake manifold (on the left side of the writing) that we dont know where it goes... any ideas?

actually if you look on

its the pipe, above the "2000 twin cam 16" sign...comes from the throttle body , we've plugged it with an allen key at the moment.
