just wondering if a 18rgh pointless dizzy will fit in my 2tg hybrid, and work!?

I don't know for sure, but I would be guessing no, seeing as their position within the timing cases of their respective engines is really quite different.
The bolt points are probably different to.
As I said, I don't know for sure, I guess all you could do it try to stick it in there.
If it fits correrctly, it will probably work, as long as you are running it off a compatible coil and ignitor.

I guess that 18r-g dizzy wont drive the 2t/3t oilpump.

Is the oil pump still run from the dizzy on the 2tg?
I don't know much about 2tg engines.
I know it isn't on the 18rg, but as for the 2tg, I haven't pulled one of those apart yet.
I realise that the whole cam arrangement in a 2tg is going to be much more different from a 2t than an 18rg is from an 18r SOHC, what with the 2t being a push rod and all.
Any one shed some light on this?
