JZA70 Supra to Part Out Thu, 07 October 2004 04:26 Go to next message
Remember my little saga with Kristain (supraman), with that car I bought from him taking so long. Well, it's arrived, a
1991 JZA70 SUPRA. But guess what, the little punk didn't tell me that the car was never complianced in Australia, no compliance plate means no registration. Under the SEVS rules this model can no longer be complied, so I have a car that cannot be driven on public roads. Thankyou very F**KN much Supraman.
So, I have to part out: one 100% Complete JDM JZA70 SUPRA
This car has 1JZ engine, 90 000kms
R154 gearbox
Race adjustable coilovers,
Recaro seats,
JZA80 WHEELS,
Intercooler,
3" exhaust,
All panels intact and straight (minus rear right side quarter)
Al glass intact
All switchgear and electrics
All interior panels and pieces
Updated (obviously, as it is '91) taillights and front bar

I am taking SENSIBLE and GENUINE offers on everything, or the whole car if someone wants it as a racer.
I am only keeping the pedal box and associated manual conversion bits (not inclusive of gearbox and bellhousing)

Have you priced a C3 licence lately? You'd also have to export the car and then import it again under that system - not worth doing! Sorry to hear the story su_pr_aero, can you PM me a price for the complete car as is please?

Ah man i can't believe Kristian would do that do you! %$@# that would send me over the edge! I know the feeling too! when i tryed to get my supra registered they wouldn't do it becuase it had no compliance plate. Luckily i convinced them it was over 15 years old and did not need a compliance plate and it's now registered.

I tell you what you could try, wait another few years so it falls under the 15 year rule, take it to the place i whent to, and he'll probably register it just like mine. Oh yeah i'm in Tas aswell.

But your probably just wanting to get your money back by parting the car out to buy another car. Let me just say i'd take a loan out to buy your 1jz engine/ gearbox and everything associated with converting my supra over to a 1jz.

What did you pay for the car? what would you sell the whole car for?

what would you want for the coil overs?

Do you have pics? or a link to the thread where kristian screwed you around.

Personally, I would keep it as a racecar and get a POS daily driver! That is what a supra should be used for anyway Smile

If you do sell the bits, I hope you get back what you paid for it as in your circumstances you definitely deserve it.

bump.

I have a car that cannot be driven on public roads. Thankyou very F**KN much Supraman. Raf

YOU ARE THE BIGGEST LYER !!! THE CAR IS REGISTERED, AND YOU DROVE THE CAR HOME !!!!! IT HAS REGO PAPERS, HAS PLATES, STOP FUCKING LYING !!!!!

The car is registered Till november, I bought the car off toymods with rego, then sold it to you with rego.

If you want to start a shit fight su_pr_aero why dont you TELL THE TRUTH Punk !! WHY DIDNT YOU SAY IT WAS REGISTERED ???

THE CAR IS REGISTERED IN NSW, I TOLD YOU THE DETAILS BEFORE YOU BOUGHGT IT !! I have it in my email records -

I TOLD YOU IT WAS REGISTERED AS A 1984 MODEL, AND YOU STILL BOUGHT THE CAR. THAT WAS YOUR DECISION. THE CAR HAS REGO, AND IS STILL REGISTERED TILL NOVEMBER. GET A REGO CHECK, AND YOU WILL GET ANOTHER 12 MONTHS REGO. YOU ARE A LYING BASTARD, STARTING SHIT AND MAKING UP STUFF THAT IS UNTRUE.

DONT TELL LIES ABOUT THE CAR, JUST CAUSE YOU GET IT AND NOW YOU DONT WANT IT.

I'D BUY THE CAR BACK IN AN INSTANT IF I HAD THE MONEY.

here are copied of the rego papers and rego label for all of those people that dont believe me !!!!!

su_pr_aero,

First and foremost Multiple postings of the same thread are NOT accepted under ANY circumstance. You do it again and you will be banned.

Clearly you are unhappy with your purchase but equally as clear is your blatant mis-representation of the truth around the vehicle. The car being Registered in NSW is a rather important piece of information you convieniently left out.

With any purchase from ANYONE on these forums or anywhere else it is important to exercise some "Buyer Beware". A poor decision on the part of the purchaser is NOT the fault of the seller !

This discussion should be taken offline and dealt with in private.

OK this one's getting locked as well.

If you want to part out the car start a new thread for it.

If you want to do something else about the car you bought then sort it out privately with the seller.
