4WD Brakes Thu, 07 October 2004 06:03 Go to next message
Hey guys, has anyone ever used Brakes off a 4wd? Looking at a Friends Current model Prado, the brakes look nice and chunky, look 4 piston actually! Just the calipers, I belive the disc are 6 Stud. Could be a cheaper alternative than the popular Supra 4 Spot Calipers??

You'll probably find although massive, they are massively heavy too. Some of the Landcrusher brakes are very similar to the Hilux 4-piston calipers many people use.

Ahhh the weight, forgot about that!! I know, in the states, the guys on is300.net, use the Celsior 4 Pots, much lighter than the Supra 4 pots!

Here are the Celsior/LS430 Kit

Wow, quickest reply from os! Here is their reply:

We do ship our products to Australia. The price of the brake upgrade kit with UCF30 caliper isUS$1,980 + airfreight$120. Total cost will be US$2,100.

is that worth it? i think I can settle for Supra 4 pots for $1500!
