The Sprinter is finally back on the road!
After over 2 months of pain and suffering trying to find someone to fix it.
The guy came to my house, and fixed it in my driveway in two hours. Pulled the body back to straight, hung the new LH quarter panel, straightened bumper supports and fitted the head light and parker. Looks better than ever, just needs a new bonnet(to be painted gloss black.) and the quarter panel to be painted red like the rest of the car, some minor bumper repairs and she will be immaculate!
Sent it in for a blue slip thursday morning, all good except for some rack and pinion end or something, got that fixed for 70 buks and then straight to NRMA for insurance and then to RTA to re-register and pull the plates out of storage now shes back!
Getting new tyres tomorrow! then decent suspension when I get back from schoolies!(NO MORE CHOPPED SPRINGS!)
Just had to spread the word!
Catch ya!

I just left it with them and they fixed it for me for like 70 bucks.
If you only fail on minor things, usually the place will fix it for you and then issue the blue slip.
Or u can take it somewhere to get fixed but that is a pain in the ass, and I think it then has to be booked back in for the blue slip, you can't just waltz back up and say "fixed, gimme a blue slip please".
and basically if you dont let them fix whats holding it back, or they cant fix whats holding it back, then you have to take it away and organise it, and then take it back to the same place for the blue slip, you can't just keep trying every garage until a shifty one passes you.
(and Im pretty sure they will still charge you the $45 or wat eva it is for a blue slip if it fails and you repair yourself and then take it back)
Cheers.
