electronic turbocharger?	Sat, 28 September 2002 09:13

i was flicking thru an old car mag and i noticed a thing called a turbo-zet? it claimed to be an electronic turbo, has any one had any experience or got any info on them? what are they just an electric air compressor? also does anyone know how efective (if at all) those ERP (electronic rust prevention) things are? anyone use one? Those electronic turbo chargers are crap! They were origionaly designed for boats with inboard engines! They dont really offer any power gains at all! Not on a car anyway! [Report message to a moderator]

Do something for me. Reach behind your computer and feel the air coming from the back of your power supply. Imagine a couple of those and think how much effect they really would have. Now you know what a TurboZet is... [Report message to a moderator]

if they are pretty much the same as your computer fan then you would probably get more gains by farting into the intake [Report message to a moderator]
