Independant Throttle Body Questions Thu, 07 October 2004 11:12 Go to next message
Can someone tell me what problems you can encounter running a quad throttle setup on a standard ECU? Engine uses a map sensor. But where would you hook up the vac lines with quad throttles? Injectors to run off factory fuel rail plugging into the head (unlike some ITB setups that inject into the intakes).

Some people have told me it'll be rough at idle but otherwise fine others have said it wont work properly unless I use an aftermarket ecu mapped for it. So i figured id throw this one up in the air for discussion. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Steve

You will most definitely need a programmable ECU to run ITB's.
