i can get non-genuine ones for $120 new, I think there Bosche or Goss pumps.

non-genuine just means another company other than the one that made the original ones for that car, has made one with exactly (or close enough to) the same specs as the original one as a replacement part. These are ussually cheaper than getting a genuine one. It would certainly do the trick. Just so you know, retail on these around my area is about $200ish. I rang a mate of mine at autopro and he said $180 but that's with a small discount aswell. $120 is probably cheaper than what they buy it for (i can get stuff direct from there suppliers).

is it the VL turbo pum or just the NA pump, there is a difference I think. My bosch turbo pump from Repco was $275

yeah turbo pump. It's a wholesale price so subtract my price from what you paid and that's the markup to retail.
