damn, no go, the guys im going through have it listed as a 6201 which the 5m-e has and even the is200 they are all the same.

Should it fit snug in the fly or does it swim around a bit?

p.s im not close to home to grab my original one atm Rolling Eyes

It fits in the back of the crank, uber tightly.

You have to hammer it in.

i didnt take my one to the clutch place and hence got the wrong one. but once i got it out i just ordered one from a bearing shop for $5 once i had to part number,

old one is still on the motor, will have to pull it off the engine stand. Tomorrow im puting it all back together and hopefully have it starting to go back into the bay. So will have a play tomorrow and see what happens.

I got a nachi 6201 bearing from clutch shop, the 6201 was in the book throughout the toyota range so should be a goer, wait and see i guess Smile

well i have looked at putting in the 6201 bearing and it seems too big to fit in the crank, fits on the gearbox fine though.

I went and got a 6200 and seems to be a better fit with a bit of hammering but the inside diamater is too small Rolling Eyes

i bought the engine as a package only so someone may have removed it when they took off the clutch flywheel.

Does anyone have the part number they used? anyone got a picture or can take one of the spigot in place?

Thanks

Seriously dude, go to Repco and ask for a spigot bearing for a 5ME MA61 manual Supra. Thats what I used, I know it fits the block because I put it in there, I know it fits the gearbox cos the MA61 came with a W58 also, and was a whole $3.50 Smile

6001v is correct - you can also use the 6001zz - the letter denotes which type of seal it is.

6201 is used in R series (truck) cranks.

6201 is also popular in Toyota distributors - FWIW.
