i have just had my car dyno'd and it seems that my vvt on my 20v head is not hooked up. is this the thing with two wire sticking out on the front left of the head? if it is its not hooked up and could this have caused the problems at the top end of my dyno run? it goes up, then drops, then up, then drops.like its kicking in then dropping.(fluctuating at top end)
does any1 here know what i should do, hook it up or leave it off? if im wrong on its possition where is it then?

Yes, that's the plug. Is it wired to anything or not? Which computer are you using?

If it's a GZE bottom end the block won't have the oil gallery needed to supply oil pressure to actuate the variable cam timing. What are your tuners thoughts on the problem?

I would be inclined to suggest that the VVT is not the cause of your rpm fluctuation. A faulty actuator could possibly cause it, but seing as yours isn't connected at all, I can't see how it would be that.
