85 Corona steering help

After my rt142 hit a small (speed sign, stupid kids) pole dead center of the front of the car, my steering has always been a little iffy.
I get a wheel alignment but then after a few weeks to a month it gets noticable worse again.
Also when I go on full lock it makes a funny sound and steering feels odd. Not sure of a better way to describe it but yeah.
Would one of steering arms (I know nothing about this section of the car) be bent or... ?
