getting top dollar for my corolla

just wondering on what my best ideas are for selling my KE55 im just replacing the head with a 3k and mild port but now i want a new project, i bought the car for $900 its paint is good, no rust and good tyres, i was gonna put a carb, extractors and exhuasr and cam on it but will i get it back on resale? i know its hard to say for anyone to make an assumption but would $1500 be asknig to much for me to sell a stock KE55 with 3k recoed head and 5months rego?

probably. it's only worth as much as someone will pay for it.
most cars that age are only worth the rego.. consider you could get a later model crummydore for the same price...
