Poor wiring....
I had the cars loom repaired because the wires were worn down to the copper from scratching against a metal support.
Shorted the fuse on rough roads.

If its only started happening after you were playing around, then you have knocked something.
Find it and repair it.

NO, it is designed for 10A, and if it blows that, it will blow the 15A.
It should draw less than 10A when running 4 speakers at full ball.
That is what its designed for.
Find the fault, and fix it.
There aren't that many wires.

If its a short circuit fault, yes.
It will blow that instantly like the 10A
If the fault is just causing excess current (ie 20ish Amps) then it may just melt the fuse.

don't mess around with a 15A fuse, just put a 50amp fuse in and fuck the deck completely.. that way you can take it to someone to install the new deck
get a multimeter, check connections, find the fault..
or pay someone to check it for you.

try connecting it OUTSIDE the car, using a computer power supply or a car battery (not a charger).

maybe not anymore.. JUST TEST THE FUCKER OUTSIDE THE CAR WITH A RELIABLE POWER AND GROUND. if the fuse still blows, it's the deck, if it doesn't blow, your wiring is fucked.. simple as that!
stop talkin, start testing.. it's still early

Unlug everything and start from the basics. hook up the earth to ground and the ACC and B+ lines to a constant B+ if that works Ok then hook up the ACC to your ACC in the car. just keep going until it blows the fuse and you know where you're at.

Thanks fellas. The fuse does not blow anymore using a new constant direct from the battery ...
BUT NOW !!!! When i turn it on, there is a loud crackle in my front speakers which are powered by the amplifier !!
As there is no resistor on my ACC (red) wire ... could this be the cause of the interference when turning on the stereo? (does someone have a pioneer deck and know what resistor should be there ?? My panasonic one has a 1kohm resistor)
Another thing ... the amp is on ALL THE TIME ! i.e. i thought the remote from the head deck is supposed to turn the amp on ONLY when the deck is turned on .... (can someone confirm the blue/white wire from the pioneer deck is the remote wire ??)
fark this i have put in many stereos and have never had a headache - this one has been a killa !! i dont understand !

The blue/white is the remote to the amp but it is switch on by the deck when the deck powers up.
If you have run a constant power source from the battery (through red wire)the deck is always on and hence the amp is always on.

It Kind of sounds like you have a constant power wire touching the remote wire.
Check this in 3 places
1. where the loom plugs into the back of the deck for frayed wires
2. In the loom where you have spliced the constant power and remote power wire.
3. (this one caused me no end of trouble and might be the problem with the fuse blowing) on the AMP check that there isn't a stray wire from the power cable to the amp touching the remote connection. this would keep the amp on as well.

basically, the power wire runs separate to the rca and speaker wires as i know for a fact that the power wire has ability to cause inteference .. otherwise, all seems ok ... fark pizin me off !

What is the interferance? Buzzing, clicking, only happens with lights or indicators going? constant regardless of electrical load?
I'm really only pulling at strings now... there is only 1 way you can plug those things in. If you have put it in near the head unit try it near the amp??
