hey guys. me and a mate are doing an engine conversion with a ke70 but before we put in a 4age, we want to practice with the 4ac i picked up. does anyone know if the stock 4 speed ke70 gearbox will mate up to a 4ac engine without any problems or do i need to buy a t50 gearbox before even thinking of putting another engine in there? cheers.

You'll want a T50, as well as the tailshaft, Xmembers, speedo cable, clutch pedal and cylinder, etc. from an AE71. I did this swap myself a little while back, bought an AE71 for $250 to get all the bits I needed.

so then the ae71 comes WITH a t50 gearbox? sorry, i dont know the specs of the boxes on the ke's. if so, means i can use the gearbox from the ae71 for a 4age swap in the future right?
