That sounds interesting - Is it the whole diff housing and everything or just LSD?

looks to me it is just the LSD that is alfa parts. the whole rear end is fabricated (me thinks). i bought it off a toymod member, he knows exactly what it is.

Very nice AE86 there mate
With the surge tank you got, is that an off the shelf item or custom? Looks like it fits nicely there. Be very interested to hear where you got it and how much.
Thanks

be very carefull there , those diffs where made to be supported in the center , not to have the load on each axle tube , and yes they broke in 105's too .

right now, the car has a 5 pound boost cut and rev limit (unknown) on it as i need to run the motor in (after 2500kms) before i can get a full dyno read out.
yeah i read what arch wrote and thought, wtf i didnt say that!! took me a while b4 he edited my post jahahah
for some reason, i dont remember the steering to be this heavy as before. i need to grow some muscles now.

i have no new pics but the car is getting registered this week.
damn engineer is taking his time finishing up the report, so for now, i cant get blue slip.
oh yeah, just to cover my own ass, my cousin will be using my car in the final battle salon but hes gona cover it with stickers. its NOT MY idea but i'll let him do it since hes using it as a promo thing for his company. once the show is finished, i'll remove the stickers.
that said, i am not a rice boy.

dude
i am just getting my head around your setup and other 4AGTE setups.
Are you running a remote oil relocation kit for your filter?
Also how much were those fittings for your catch can/surge tank and where did you get them?

the oil filter isnt remote, its still located on the block but there is a sandwich plate for the oil cooler.
as for the catch can and surge tank, i cant tell you the price right now becuase i dont have the receipts but the workshop that did the turbo setup did the fuel system setup aswell.
if i remember, i'll post it up later tonight.
fyi: the workshop is in the gong (fairy meadow to be exact), PM me if you want more details.
and seriously!!! im not a ricer!

hmmm, I'm thinking about mounting my surgie where you have got yours to avoid hassle if it is in the back (can peep inside cuz no rear trim + defect) but on the same token where you have got yours is also a defect? argh fuggit, anywhere will be a defect but i'm just wondering if it is less beneficial where you have yours.
also my mate has an oil catch can exactly like yours for sale, and i was just wondering about prices for fittings

nah it wont be a defect. i have an engineers report so the police wont hassle me about it. thing is, i can hear the fuel pump when i sit in the driver seat.
i can find out the prices of fittings at around 4pm today. PM me around that time and i'll get them for you.

Just bringing this thread from the dead, hehe anyways with your transaxle diff im pretty sure its off a gtv6 (alfa 75 rings a bell) and as i said on msn go to Alfa Romeo Parts dealer in wollongong and enquire this part number, and see what they come up with on their computer.
part number: 60715942
If that doesnt work try Hurtienne in Germany
http://www.alfahurtienne.de/htdocs/english/
send him an email, include a pic of ur diff and what u need.
