If you can find a same car but in manual, it's a straight swap. For the Peddles and gearbox you can get it off a SA63 (if 2S-C is in your Corona) or RA65 Celica (if 22R-E is in your Corona) for transmission Bellhousing, though I don't know about your diff ratio and the tail shaft.

Anyone correct me if I am wrong.

Cheers.

Its currently got a 4 speed manual, just want to find a 5 speed, but dont know what car to search for. Im pretty sure its a 22r or 18r, so would a 5 speed out of the later coronas fit?

If its a four speed it has to be a 2sc, all 22re in coronas came with 5 speeds except autos of course, I would think that one of these boxes would mount straight up as a 5 spd was available as an option on the 2sc.

Check the ID Plate

You probably have a W40

Just find a W50 from any car, put your bellhousing/shifter position on it, and away you go.

If it's a ST141 it will have the borg-warner box and a W series will not bolt up to the bell housing , you will have to find a bell housing and box out of a SA 63 Celica and also then change the tailshaft as the output splines are different .
