Celica / Camry engine mounts

are the engine mounts and cross members in a widebody 93 camry or above models with the same 5S-FE engine the same as in a 89-93 Toyota Celica ST184-ST185 the same ? considering both are 5S-FE

In theory, yes they should be the same. My RAV4 had it's 3S-FE removed and a 3S-GTE dumped in on the same engine mounts, without any modifications. If the 5S block design is the same (like the 3S was in my case), chances are the engine mounts probably would be too. After all, who would expect to get the guts of a GT-Four into a RAV4 without major hassles? I'd say yes, it'll go close, if not be very much similar or the same.

thanx but need to know for sure if the engine mounts are in the same position in both cars, can any one confirm it definatly?

hey guys, im new to the forumz but this info is actualy for me.
see im trying to come up for a good idea for my next car and need to know will engine from a camry bolt directly to a celica ST184 or ST185 and were talking about eithe rthe wide body camry or next 1 up as they both use 5S-FE engines.. i have good reason for needing this information and will explain all when i know that it will either fit or not thanx laterz
