How heavily modified does a 4age need to be to get 100rwkw? Is it worth the effort or would a 4agze be the better choice. I wouldn't want much/any more power than this as i would put it in a ke1X or ke2X.

It says rear wheels.
Would be possible but gze would still be a better choice if your willing to go that route.

It would be for a daily driver, rather than a Sunday thrasher, so I wouldn't want TOO much of a pig.

use a 100kw fwd motor, do the usual mods to make it rwd, then cams and ecu, yu'll see 100rwkw, with the right tune and fuel (octane) it will be quit the N/A weapon

well as far as reliability goes..i would throw in a stock GZE..mine pulled 104RWKW with only a FMIC and full exhaust..and there is enough torque to rip balls off King Kong..torque is what you want in such a little car..i drive mine everyday to work and it see the occasional sprint down the quater and slides quite frequintly.. i still get about 10L/100KM too..
i just love the torque it pulls!

How big would you have to go with the cams to get this sort of power NA? Would 256's be big enough?
I lean towards the ZE, with the option of chasing more power at a later date, but I'm sure that NA would be easier for insurance and engineering.

i really dont think u should chase 100rwkw in N/A form if all ur worying about is engineering and insurance. cause u will easli have to spend that sort of money on modification. u will pretty much have to change everything in the engine. and ur obviously not a capabale mechanic otherwise u wouldnt be asking a question like this, meaning ur gona be spending heaps on labour too.
go a GZE halfcut for like 2000$. then ive got ur gearbox too. get a free flowing exhausts , cold air feed to ur intercooler (bonnet scoop or something) and get a nevo pully kit, and ull be laughing.
also there is the option to go turbo later down the track if u want more power. ive seen quite a couple of RWD 4age turbo manifolds go around here for like 800$.

carsanactra, thanks for your reply. While I'm certainly no mechanic, I am a fitter. The actual install will be no problems, I can fabricate everything that I need.
A halfcut is what I would be looking at for the 4AGZE, purely to make the elctrics easier, but as I will be doing a RWD I will be selling most of it anyway.
I have read Bill's site and know what sort of power can be made, but wasn't sure exactly how it would translate to rwkw.
Insurance more than engineering is an issue as it is an ongoing cost, less money for other mods.
