Can't put my finger on it, but there's something wrong with that front end...
Maybe it's just the angle... It looks OK, but there's just something that bugs me about it.

I think it's more how the bonnet bulge merges into the headlights...

Dunno... Still can't put my finger on it.

I think it looks pretty mean now. Much better than the bug-eye. I actually quite like it.

I reckon it looks wierd... The lines in the bonnet, the square bonnet scoop and there are still those cruddy creases in teh guards...

There are pretty similar creases on the rear guards of the R34 GTR.

Well I dont mean doors falling off! Although on a company car we had the doors stated hanging a little too low!
Cant remember all the problems but:
Engine mounts replaced before 20000kms
Bolts on steering something striped before 20000kms
Cabin fan motor mounts broke
Indicator switch module busted

Cant think of the other problems at the moment! The car was sold when changing gears was not possible anymore!

I'm going to disagree with you guys.... I'm not a fan of the WRX... purely because they are so popular.

I think the front end is a huge improvement over the last model... looks much more aggressive. But the whole car sits too high. The guards look massive which makes the wheels look really small.

Look how high the boot lid is over the rear wheels...

It sorta is reminding me of the mid 90's Mazda 121 a little.

I think it looks pretty dodgy. The grille looks like it came off the the Hyundai Accent, the bonnet scoop is just wrong, and the lights and front of the bonnet are very poorly done.

Looks like the front of the Liberty. I actually thought it was a B4 when i first saw it. I'm not a great fan of WRX's but I think the the MY99 looks the best in my opinion.

Big improvement...but where the hell is the classic styling? It still looks like everything has been stuck on like an afterthought. Hey, lets try fix the ugly front end and whack some lights and lines and shit in there. They could take a lesson from Toyota on that one. I love the styling of my car and just about all Celicas. They have an ageless style which borders on erotic Razz
..and it flows together nicely!

Well the guards I don't mind. Try buying a GT4 and have the hassle of filling those rally bred guards! If you do manage to fill them, hey presto, you have one cranky ass car.

I think the WRC will look good but it has major "looks" competition these days.

Meh its better than the last model.
I would hate to be a panel beater with all the smooth creves.
If I gave TONY RIGOLI half of what that would cost i'm sure he could make my car better then it.

I loved the 2.0lt EVO 3, AWD accent he had at the Jamboree. Razz

Yeah! my Nan has one (Accent:) It's a real jazzy number...same colour too.
[edit] I'm being sarcastic.

Look at Peugeot's WRC car and tell me they have not put some effort into some proper styling.

I think the front looks funny too, It looks like the curves on the front of the bonnet aren't symetrical or something. Looks twisted a bit.

It looks heaps better than bug-eyes though.

Rigoli is the dodgiest shop you could take your car too....

My friend actually sold him the Fiat engine he runs in the datto ute. He always goes on about how he choose it cause he knows so much about them and he built it too special secret specs.....

It was pulled out of my friends Fiat Hill climb club car.... all he did was bolt a bigger turbo on it... And get this, he wanted to pay for it in drugs!

Stay clear of these guys.... you'll find your new engine hardware flogged three days after its installed.

By the way.... isn't Tony Rigoli different to V & G Rigoli???
As far as I know, Dominque here on the Gold Coast, who is a nice bloke doesn't have a datto ute powered by a Fix It Again Tony engine!! Very Happy

gotta say looks much better than the current model floating around - i reckon the price of the my99 series and previous went up when this current model came out - YUCK!

anyone noticed how similar all the cars coming out are? ie : the new falcadore/commonwhore both look the same although i do like the rear lancer lights on the new commonwhore.

I like it alot.
Just imagine what it would look like lowered with 19"s or 20"s.
Oh and a awesome veilside body kit.
Would be a VERY nice looking car.
Hope the performance hasn't decreased again.
