i downloaded a torrent from suprnova.org, but it was a rar file. no big deal, ive had them before, no problems with anything.

BUT, today i downloaded one that was a rar file and when i opened it it asked me for a fuckin password!?? Mad Mad Mad Mad

what is this shit, and does anyone know how to get around it, i CBF downloading it again. unless i have to.

it says "enter password for encyrpted file"

im also wondering ive had the same problem but try guessing the most obvious names for it like what it relates to or the filename itself
there are a few programs out there but they dont work 100% of the time and take a really long time (brute force/dictionary) give

Go to the supanova forums and most of the passwords are listed you just have to look for them

its cool now, i figured it out. i thought i typed it in correctly before, but i guess i didnt. it was the url in the file name.
