Ok I was at this intersection next to Lidcombe station in Sydney and it's a crazy one where you have to continually look in different directions and there are like 6 possible ways a car can go and it gets annoying having to look out for everything. So I'm waiting at the stop sign and then it's all clear so I'm coasting along really slowly, like 35km/h and I'm going straight and there is this guy coming up to the give way line on the left( I was travelling vertically, he was going horizontally) and I'm rolling through, no threat at all and he HONKS me! This guy was a bloody driving instructor!! Why on earth would you honk someone for driving SAFE? The idiot probably was looking through his street directory and looked up to find himself nearly at my car.
A few hours later I was waiting at a round-about and im signalling to turn left and waiting for the guy on my right to go but then a car travelling in the opposite direction to me cuts through so I speedily turn left because the guy to my right can't get through anyway. I didn't realise but there was a cop who saw this and as I went through left he went past and did a u-turn on the round about and sped up and tailed me, so I slowed down then he turns on his lights and I pull over.
He then asks me for my license. Obviously he saw my rush through the roundabout even though it was totally safe. Like by rush through I mean maybe 40km/h and my car was revving because it's crappy.
So he approaches me and is like "Hi how are you?" and I'm sure he expected me to be someone who just got their P's (I should be on my greens) because of me applying a little bit of accelerator (it was SERIOUSLY nothing!) while turning and expected that I'd be breathing heavily and scared.
I just smiled and said "Yeah good thanks, yourself?" lol and had to stop myself from laughing. He then asked for my license and went and checked it out back at his car where his boyfriend was waiting and checked to see that the car wasn't stolen and handed me back my license. It was like he was annoyed that it wasn't fake! He was kinda looking in through the car (I had 4 passengers) and looking around and then he saw that the rego and everything was in order. He goes back to his car and comes back and says "Ok, I'm just going to do a random breath test. Have you ever done this before?"
I just told him no and he told me to blow on the thingy and that was that and he told me everything checked out and to have a good day. I know this guy wanted to give me atittude but luckily I was way too polite for him to be a bastard to me 
I then started the car and had the left indicator on, letting him overtake me but then he just stayed behind me till I drove a bit then did a u-turn and went back the same way.
RANDOM my arse. I don't get why cops like that don't do some real work. I guarantee you if I didn't have my P plates on NOTHING would've happened. Oh well, it was a new experience
Lastly I was driving home from Concord when a cat runs accross the road and I had to brake and I braked (broke?) in time not to hit the cat. Meanwhile some gronk was behind me and had caught up and was about 3 or 4 metres behind and then decides to tail me! I was pretty pissed off. I mean if they had to brake and just missed me, then ok - they'd want to know what the hell was going on but he was 3 or 4 metres clear. I was thinking maybe I should piss this guy off more by slowing down or I should just speed up. I sped up and got to the next light and this guy was still on my tail. I was so tempted to reverse my shitbox into this dickhead commodore. Then I decided I'll wait till we get on Parramatta Rd, get behind this dickhead and tail him and see how he likes it. Turns out the guy was a stupid bitch who gave ME a disgusted look.
Anyway, there's not much point to these stories. Just informing everyone. I don't know why.
Also it was a killer day in Sydney today

Totally agreed mate.... last december, i got pulled over cause i was like 6k over the limit... did a pretty quick right at the round aboutrs... but perfectly save.. So the cop pulls in behind me... followed me for a few min, then pulled me over and said:
"Goodevening Driver"
im like eh.... "Good morning maybe... its 12:30 ROFL" but ofcause i didnt say tha i just said
"evening officer... "
cop: "This is a random breath test"
i did the shit.... he then continued
where are you going....

Cop: Yes back at the 50 area you were doing 60
Im like: Get fucked... but i said: "was i? I musta missed thee speed limit.,,, hang on sir... now that you mentioned... there was no speed limit sign there.. but im sorry if i was going faster than the limit... i simply didnt know"
Cop: ".... can i see your license"
gave him that.... then checked that my car wasnt stolen..... my car was stock as a rock... more ..... it was my fucken B'DAY at 1230am.....
Cop gave me my licence back and said
"Slow down"
im like Thanks.... (To myself: what a fucktard, but a nice fucktard)

I had a similar experience, I was on south road heading out of Adelaide, going prob about the speed limit 100km/h. A Suberpoo cam flyin up behind me sniffin my oil filled fumes. I got on the left hand lane and let the fucker past. I thought what the hell, I may as well get up behind him seen as he's booting it.
There was a hide and seek village champion hiding in the fark'n bushes wif his hair dryer. I saw the party lights coming up behind me, pulled to one side to let him past and get the scoodiedoo driver that flew past me. But NO..... The dumb cunt was out to pull me.
The deteriorated half human being half pig asks me what my hurry was... Like I need an excuse to be in a hurry!!! I simply told the low life that I moved out of the way for the speeding car that went past me and then just went about my normal speed.
He told me the uvva cunt was doing 138 km/h where I was doing 141 km/h.... Damn, I got stung. I gave hima sob story about it being soooo damn hard to save for a deposit on a house and that i didn't realise I was speeding and blah blah blah bullshit. he reduced it so it showed me only doing 29 km/h over the limit. This saved me $170, so I guess I was kinda lucky.....

one of the only times i've been pulled over for doing nothing i was cruising home along mt cotton road at about 3:30 in the morning(was out that way visiting a friend... )
anywho
i'm tired, so i decide to do the speed limit along there for once(usually i try play double the speed limit)
all of a sudden i get a rear view full of highbeams and then see the party lights in my rear view(prick sneaked up from no where)
get pulled over
usual bullshit(RBT, checks my license and car details back in his vehicle)
then saunters back and starts spouting some bullshit about what a nice car i have for someone my age etc etc
then all of a sudden "why are your eyes bloodshot?"
i reply that i'm tired
next thing i know i'm being asked to step out of my car and then i'm semi restrained by this fellas partnet whilst my car is searched for "suspicion of narcotic substances"
prick pulls everything out including my spare tired(which he shook around rather awkwardly...no doubt trying to "listen" for the smack i must of had hidden in there :S)
then when he doesnt find anything i'm let go
they tell me to be more careful
and i'm left to put everything back in my car
if i wasnt so damn tired i would of obtained their details and made a formal complaint...or perhaps not
i rarely get pulled over, i usually get waved through booze buses
so i guess i'm pretty lucky

Wierdest thing happened to me yesterday, I didn't do anything wrong at all and I got called a 'fucking faggit'.
Story goes I was driving past ye olde maccas at TTP (I think) and you have to enter through the car park at TTP. Drove in, maccas is on the left, and there's a guy in 'driveway' of maccas wanting to turn right out of maccas into my direction. Anyway I'm crawling along at about 10km/h and this guy probably has a good 10 seconds to make a move. Clearly he is a bit of a noobtard so I decided to indicate to make my intention really obvious, at this stage i'm still a good 15m from the maccas and by my maths that means he still has five seconds to make his move
Then I notice that this dude is looking straight at me, with his oh-so-tough ZZ-Top plastic sunnies and gray biker-beard mouthing something like 'fucking faggot'...so I'm winding my window down as I get closer and I turn in (so I'm right next to the guy) and he looks straight at me and says 'you absolute fucking faggot'. To which I reply with a mono-fingered salute and then he and his little son conjure up a brilliant come-back but giving me the same salute about five seconds later once I've driven past.
I felt like getting out and having a word to the guy, but really I wouldn't want to shatter his little boy's illusion about his big tough manly sexy daddy... (not that I'm implying this guy looked sus or anything). You could possibly classify my indication as slightly late, but I indicated 5 seconds at least before starting to turn.
As you can tell, I'm a little miffed that I got abused for my driving...seeing as I was on my way back from picking up the Encouragement Award for the novice section of the Shannons Clare Valley Rally!!! Usually being dissed doesn't bother me so much
Oh well guess I'll have to 'build a bridge'

Yeah had some simular experiences (boosting cars by accident...) ANYWAY you have to think why they victimise P platers (I being one myself), but seriously look at the number of road accidents that involved P platers and it starts to make sense. Yeah (speaking sarcasticly) we might be the best drivers on the road seeming we've only had our licence for 1-2 years, but we're not invincible (like everyone). What I don't get is P platers complaining about why they always get picked on, I'm not having a go or anything,fuck, I've been pulled over heaps and been defected before, and I know many of us are conscience drivers, but there is also a majority (what I wish were a minority) of drivers that are absolute dickheads. It's something to think about,
Anyway thats my 2 cents worth.

First of all thanks but the reason I'm annoyed is because I don't know if I stressed it enough but there was a fully licensed dick head who sped through at over 60 going in the opposite direction to me while I turn left not all that fast and certainly below the speed limit (I had 4 passengers in my '90 CSX, how fast COULD I go from a dead stop?) and the idiot police decide to come after me. It's true P platers are scarily over-represented in fatalaties etc. but it was a clear case of this guy looking to get some credit (you get stars if you're a train transit officer, don't know what they're called if you're a cop) and hopefully move up and targetting me because there was a greater potential to charge me. He didn't act in the interest of public safety because he chose to ignore someone who WAS speeding, or at the very least dangerously close to the speed limit. Instead he wants to make himself look good.
I'm over it but the police are supposed to protect our safety. We are meant to have a great respect for the job they do and keeping us safe. However if they act so blatantly irresponsibly it's no wonder they don't get the respect they are entitled to.

i got pulled over because i waited for an old lady to get onto the footpath after crossing at a pedestrian crossing. drove slowly over the speed hump on the way to a mates place then they decide to pull me over. i was in view of my mates place and thought if they start goin over the car im ringing my mate.
he breathalised me. asks have you been drinkin today? i say 'no been at school' hes like 'not the best place to get pissed ey' then as i was blowin on the lil tube thing he says 'unless your a teacher of course' im like wtf?
i get followed all the time down here. i think i was down as a vehcile of interest until i changed no. plates

Anyway we were driving about and we spotted the random breath coppers driving a distance away, so we kept to the speed limit and whent about our mission of looking for women, next thing we know, those cops came right up behind us and flashed there lights a couple times to get us to pull over. We knew we were fucked, well my friend knew he was seriously fucked becuase he had been drinking, and was driving and the cops were wanting us to pull over for the 'RANDOM' breath test!
it was a 'Thelma and Louise" moment, we looked at eachother and said "we're fucked!" and my friend says "we're gonna have to outrun them" and before i even gave an answer my friend planted it, whent thru a red light, whent thru 2 give way signs and a roundabout. By that time the cops were barely keeping up and we got outa there. Very lucky, very stupid and i was shitting my pants! he was going way to fast, 170+ km/h thru a giveway/intersection is hella dodgy! Were not sure if the coppers got his plate number.

FWD yes your right, even tho he isn't much of a friend. more of a backstabber, but yes i should of stopped him driving, problem is he convinced me he wasn't even tipsy, yet when the cops showed up, he was shitting his pants probably becuase he knew he would blow the breather. I gotta stop getting myself into these situations, I've already been in a car accident, not becuase the driver was drunk, but becuase he was overconfident in his VN commodore, and we ended up into a power pole and i have a metal plate in my face, so i never get into commodores anymore, and also ppl that are shit drivers, and now i'll add to the list ppl that drink and/or lie.

running from the cops for a reason i can understand (unfortunetly i have found myself in these situations and got away but thats the old days... if only they had the same rules back then as do now would have been alot easier) but i will never hear a good enough excuse for drink driving, your 'mate' is an idiot running from the cops while dui is just plain stupid.

Interesting story... one of my friends was out with a couple of his mates, and one of them was driving drunk. (TT Soarer, green I think) Anyway, they didn't get chased by the cops or anything, the guy just took an 80km/h corner at 90km/h, understeered off the road, and smacked into a tree. My mate's allright but the guy in the front passenger seat was in ICU.
Drunk drivers suck.
