as the 2tg is getting closer to finding its way under my bonnet, and the SA threads are all gone, can someone enlighten me as to the best place to get the twin carbs tuned.
i know that there was a place in kent town named but i would prefer to have some more solid details than that as i'm sure there's more than one mechanic in kent town.
sorry to people from outside SA who this has no relevance to at all

Kent Town Auto Tune (and Carburettor Sales and Service) they are located on 6 Little Rundle St, Kent Town.
These guys are usually top stuff, except for one time when they mucked up some twin weber throttle balance issue - but they'll fix that soon enough.
Don't worry about the non-SA ppl btw

Kent Town is good
They tune plenty of classic and production rally cars and pretty much know everything about tuning carbs, DCOE, DGAV, DHLA, IDA you name it.

the verdict is in
very happy with the results (28 years of experience will generally get a good tune)
the conclusion : go efi. it works out cheaper and better in the long run. webers are a pain in the arse.
*saves for dcoe throttle bodies*
