Hey ppl i have not posted much on this site. So in the three months of no licence i will try and learn as much as possible. Sorry for any stupid qs..
I ve recently blown my lsd apparently it was a trd 2 way and fairly new. My mate and i pulled it apart its well Fuc#ed. At first i thought i will replace with the same. But i dont want it bracking again.....
Whats an alternative that will be strong and last. Whats a better brand? Is it essential to get a 2 way?(I do like going side ways) Are hilux diffs stronger? How hard are they to install?
Cheers 4 any help

are hilux diffs stronger? hell yes and lsd's are pretty easy to come by compared to the t series
to install you would have to cut the mounts off the te series and get them welded on the hilux. the offset may change also
the only downside is they weigh a bit more than the t series
a 2way lsd is the preferred lsd for a drifter

2 way is an accel on and decel on 'snapping' style diff
it gives no mercy for an unexperienced driver
if you blew a reletively new 2way trd lsd, id lok at if you have the correct axels for the diff
these diffs are pretty solid behind most ae86 motors

my question is HOW THE F*$K did you break a TRD 2 way, even jap D1 drift turbo cars with SR20's dont break the diffs, just the axles........

I doubt my driving style has anything to do with it. Its a 4AGTE 250hp. The lsd was all oiled up. My mate mentioned some thing about the axles and that they should of broken first....
cheers 4 the help boys. I will look futher into it.
