Yes, all the above.
But the worst part is that the effect of your swaybar bending, is the factthat it is trying to push your diff across.
Essentially causing your vehicle to experience tracking problems.

I reckon the T3 one is pretty good. Pretty beefy and also uses spherical joints instead of bushes at both ends. A little bit noisy in the car, but not much.

Cost me about $200 AUD including postage to get it delivered to Perth. Considering some of the things you hear above about Whiteline ones, I reckon it's worth it.

soposedly haveing a thicker than standard pan hard rod is a bad idea.
I wonder if its worth doing anything all all to correct this 'problem'. Just for the sake of it I might chop and reweld mine.

Ah, so this is why you can buy a brace for the mounting point...
Well, I'll keep an eye on mine and tell you if it goes kaput.

the thickness has nothing to do with it, its the bushing that they use
i would recommend utherane bushing on the panhard
the best to do if going crazy with rose joints is 4 link adjustable rear rosejointed, with a rosejoint on one end of the panhard and a bush on the other

If lowering the vehicle, and you are concerned with the effects of the standard panhard rod, then replace it with an adjustable item and implement the upgrades that Simon mentioned.
Simon is right on track with the common bush and rose joint theory, very clever to have pointed that out.
