if the pintara diff is the same as a r31 skyline then it would be a borgwarner 2 bolt diff non lsd they are a ok diff and can always be swapped for a 4 bolt lsd out of a vl/vn commonwhore. the conversion will cost you a bit if it needs shortened but if it doesnt it will be cheaper. also getting the brakes hooked up right might cost a bit

To put it shortly, any other diff that can go into an early celica will need to have the mounts re welded to suit, or need to be shortened.
My pick would be get the diff from an MX23 and cut off the mounts and reweld on new ones, you *can* get away without needing to shorten the diff (thou rear offset needs to be looked at) and get corona rear disks put of. this gives you a disk rear end that fits up to the celica handbrake easily, and an F series diff that LSD gear sets are easily avaiable for.

Just where would you need to go to get a 1.5 way mech center for an f series diff?

also i have acces to a mx62(free) for a diff (does any1 kno about this)

Avoid it like the plague
They are an E series which isn't used in much (hell if anyone knows where you can get an LSD for em I'd like to know...I know mx32's, mx62 and 80's taragos use E series and I also thought hiace? but I have no idea if any come with an LSD center).
If you want to go LSD one day down the track (only really know toyota so I'll stick to that and let the other boys ans the other bits) I'd also suggest a MX23 or MS112 (not sure the ms112 is the same width as the mx23 but it does have rear disk over the mx23 which does not). These diff's are F series and as such you can get an LSD from ma61 supras (and the front diff of some hilux's?)
Cheers
