icon3.gif  QFM brake pads - opinions? Thu, 14 October 2004 13:09 Go to next message
Since getting the 3S-GTE dropped into my ride I've found the stopping power of the "once good with the stock 3S-FE" Bendix Performax pads on the front end are starting to lose their stranglehold on the front rotors. While it's not a major problem, it is however noticeable compared with the stock guts of the RAV4. Not only power increase, but also weight as well.

I might be looking to upgrade my calipers from stock to ST185 twins sometime soon, has anyone here had any experiences with a disc brake pad company called QFM (Queensland Friction Materials)?

I've heard from one or two people that these are top-notch pads when compared to more mainstream stuff, but I thought I'd pose the question to those on here that may have tried them or gone through a set of them already.

Cheers. Wink
