Hi guys,
i'm thinking of getting a racing 20v engine..
someone told me that a standard 20v blacktop with extractor & autronic only gets 105 hp. on the wheel. and a good racing 20v silvertop will give approx. 145 hp. on the wheel..
i have read bill sherwood site but still doesn't know which way is best..
if someone has any idea will be appriciated..

i like to get a full race spec N/A engine( cams, flow head etc.)for circuit racing but still using the standard 20v silver bottom end, has jasma extractors , full race exhaust & autronic.
1 - who do i have to talk to
2 - what sort of hp. on the wheel do i get. someone told me that the max. hp. for this set up( using standard bottom end ) is no more than 145 hp.at the wheel to be reliable.
3 - what has to be done to get about 160 hp. atw.
4 - or is it better/cheaper to use 16v. engine...?
5 - any idea of cost ?
i have read bill's web page but doesn't have a lot on the 20v.and the cost to build this 20v engine. i know according to him the 16v can push 300 hp. but the cost is very high
i think the 20v is better than the 16v for head flow thats why most of the F1 & GP bikes use 5v.
