does anyone know how to adjust or disable the chime on an mz21 soarer when it hits 105kmph?

yep! you need to get into the dash and disconnect the speaker
check the yahoo forums for a group called toyota_soarer and ask there, they'll be able to answer you with a bit more detail (mine was already done when i bought it)

On most cars, you hold down a couple of buttons and it'll disable.
In my Magna, I just hold down the up and down arrow. Mates Ford is the same..
Try holding down buttons until it goes away.
