Wanted, a MK2 Supra prefferably 1984 or later. 5-Speed is a must and the body in execptional condition. Dont mind too much about the interior but would like the engine in good nick. Even if your mk2 supra dosnt fit the description still reply to this or PM me.

I'd be willing to pay upto $5000 but might go over depending on the condition. One sold down here about a month ago for $4500, it sold before i could look at it unfortunately.

Last time i was in queenstown there was one for sale.
They have no idea how good it is they said it's an "oversized celica" But i couldn't see and rust or paint blemishes.
It's factory standard but looks pretty much imaculate.
if u leave near there drive around and u will see it offer the guy like $3500 and he can work his way up from there.
I said i had $3500 in the car and he was "ummming" And "ahhhhhing"

I paid $12,000 for mine and that a mate I was talking Yian and he got his for $7,000 a few years ago. Good luck in finding one in Tassie...

They aren't cheap if you are looking for a rust free example...

Cheers.

Yeh, thnx for that. i saw one up in queenstown for sale in the trading post a fair while ago, they said it was a XX prototype celica supra i think? Dad said it would prolly be full of rust being on the west coast so i kinda ignored it as i didnt have the money then. Think it was advertised at around 3500 too. Could've been the same one your talking about Mookie
How long ago was this? and where abouts in queenstown? street? cuss i live in Hobart and although i like driving dont feel like driving to queenstown for no reason! Confused
like i said before seen one go for sale not long ago for 4500 in tas. just hope one pops up again like this.
As long as the rust dosn't interfere with the stability of the chassis i'd sure love to take a look.
got my fingers crossed

Hey have no idea what street he lives on as i saw him on the main street of town and not at his house, but if u ask around i'm sure they will know who he is and where u can find him (it's small town everybody knows everybody)
I don't understand why it would be rusty ?
if he lived in strahan then maybe cuz it's near the sea but the only thing that might happen to it is the chemicals from the mine might come down with the rain and fade the paint.
The drive the queenstown is great there is this hill called "99 bends" it's great for drifting as u can see round most corners.
I'll try and get the phone number of somebody up there and see if they can get into contact with the guy 4 u.

gee, that'd be great! didn't think i'd find something this quickly. What SA63 parts are you selling? could be interested in buying the front end if you've got it, dont like the Pop-Out lights on my RA60 Smile Oh and try Griffiths Automotive in Sunderland street for a 1G 1/2 cut, there number is 03 62788418. They seem pretty good, went in yesterday and it looked awsome, they race an R33 in targa too!

Hey mate, A MK2 is MA61 but a 85' model is a MA61. Pity about the year becuase i was hopeing for a 84' model so i could do away with the CAT converter i think in 85' was the year they made them mandatory on all cars. But still worth a look, if you could give me his number that would be great, thnx

Mate,
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&a mp;category=18290&item=4500417702&rd=1
If you're not fussed about the 5-speed. Engines a bit knackered but thats perfect for a conversion eh??

Thnx for that mate, but i'm a bit 'iffy' about buying cars off ebay. Would like a Manual box aswell. As for the engine, your right it would be a great candidate for an engine conversion... 7M-GTE Very Happy
