1jz into mx83 again... Tue, 01 October 2002 02:53 Go to next message
i know there has been many posts on this topic
though i need soem help
i live in perth and have had mx83 a few months now
the engine has just about f*ked itself and i give it 2 or 3 weeks max before its undrivable

i have been searching for a jzx81 front cut solidly for the last 3 months and cant find shit in perth
no one can get me one
i emailed countless wreckers and imports over east, they either dont respond or say they r unable to locate one

does anyone on this forum have info on where i can get one or? or help me source one, i have all the money waiting , i just need to find one !!!

secondly, if one cant be found, is a 1jz from a soarer that hard to fit? soarer front cuts r plentyful here, and ive seen a few on forums rather cheap also
whats involved in puttin in a soarer 1jz? what needs to be modified?

anyone in perth willing to do it for me for $$$$ lol

lemme know
urgantly needed, will be without a car every soon due to munted engine

Go to this post.
http://www.japimports.com.au/toy_comingsoon.htm

the 2 chaser front cuts are sold but call them they may have other options.

the sump is wrong so this has to be modified. Do not bother go for the chaser.
The link aboove had 3 chaser motors last time I was there.
See if they have loom and ECU.

The other important factor is the cross member.

I have not done a conversion 1JZ in MX83 but planning and this is what I have found out.

Go the front cut.

Try SSS Automotive in Sydney - 02 9896 6111, Toyshop Imports Newcastle - 02 4953 7277 or Asian Auto Spares QLD - 07 3208 0133. I recommend the first 2 but haven't delt with Asian for a while.
