Engine Converstions for 94 Hilux!

i dont know much at all about hilux's but a friend of mine wants more bang in his 94 hilux! i suggested a 3T-GTE but im not sure how they fit! could someone plz list some engines that can fit! ok thanks alot!

Please do a search, Hilux engine conversions are a common topic of conversation around here and we don't really need yet another thread repeating everything.
FYI though, you can't use an engine that's older than the car. The 3T-GTE stopped production in the mid 80's so it's ruled out straight away; you need a 94 or newer engine for a 94 Hilux.

It would appear engine conversions in hilux's are all the rage at the moment! For some reason no one seems to specify if they are 2 or 4 wheel drive

easiest conversions are
1gg
1uz
or
1jz
but make sure u have over 5000 bucks to do the job
otherwise dont start any decent conversion
