What does the ECU in the boot of my cressie do? Could it be the source of my non overdriveness? I have a 91 JZX-81 engine and trans installed.

I thought it was an amplifier?
But I do recall it being the ABS? ecu on some models?

It says A/T on it so im assuming its engine related, thanks for some idea at least...Ive pretty well exhausted every other avenue on getting this pos fixed apart from driving the car 600km @ $1.11 a litre in 3rd gear to get sideshow to fix it *sigh*
