I've just had a head done up off a wrecked '83 L300 4WD and after getting it back, (Very pleased with the job!) I've noticed that this thing has got a 4g62 engine in it.
Will this thing fit on my '86 4g63?
I'm having horrors about this and without pulling the head of my monster which needs to be on the road all the time, I'm not sure.
I've spoken to a few people here but so far have had nothing but conflicting reports.
I don't see why it won't fit but might be best to try and look at a 63 head at the wreckers first.
From memory they will interchange but like all things mitsu you need to check everything first.

I did a search for 4g62 motors and came up with the thread on this forum.
I then was very clever and went apeshit registering and posting because people were talking about 4g62's and 3's AND THEN saw the forums name.......(idiot)
