i was wondering if a 86kw block with an 100kw head is possible?

it is possible to bolt basicaly any 4age/ze head to any 4age/ze block.
it would be interesting to know how much more if any HP is made by putting the smallport head on a bigport block.
would be kinda like t-vis vs smallport.

can be done, no problem at all
BUT
the 100kw block is better

7 ribs for more strength
oil squirets for the pistons (cooling purposes)
overall better equipment

if you going NA, why not just get an 86kw head and stick some massive cams in

more floooow !

you will lose CR using the bigport bottom end with a small port head, therefore its likely the performance will be reduced. there are gains in velocity of the intake which may counter this though.

i believe my bottom end is same as a small port/gze. mines the one that has 16valve written in black and rest written in red. came out just b4 100kw version
