Hey all,

I am new on here and have just purchased a JZA80 Supra. It is non-turbo, has bodykit, 18" chromies, big wing, etc. It needs a bit of work done to it which I will be doing in the near future.

You can check out a photo of it at www.pbase.com/JZA80supra

There is only one pic there so far, taken by the previous owner.

Hope you all like it........

Thanks for your comments

As for the tacho, it came with the car so!!! And yes I know where the original tacho is!!!

As for the wing, it can come on or off, and I think it looks better with the wing...........

he must of had a pretty sore neck from bending it to read the tacho all the time!

I'm not too keen on the wheels or wing, really let the rest of the car down.

Hey Dude,

Thats a real sweet ride dude Cool . When it comes to styling opinions everyone has a different view. Listen to your own heart when deciding how your car looks, all others be damned....i mean, who owns the car anyway hehe

I like the GT Wing because its the only wing that serves a spoilers original purpose, creating downforce. All others are purely for show.

However the GT Wing only comes into play during high speeds or racing and really needs to be setup in a wind tunnel to provide the correct downforce in a specific speed bracket, not much use in your average traffic lights drag or highway cruise. My point is its purely a racers item, if your planning track work with your car then go with it.

Either way its a mean looking car, if its your first supra or toyota then im sure you will get bitten by the same bug that has brought the rest of us here aswell Very Happy

Welcome!

drop it another inch??? It is already way too low and I have trouble with any kind of dip/driveway/speed hump etc. KFC/Hungry Jacks drive thrus are a big no-no. The ride height is only just legal at the front and that is the way it is staying. The wing is removable and I cruise around with it off most of the time...... I only put the wing on for big cruises and also I will be putting it on for the SCS.

As for the rest of the comments, thanks.... Bear in mind though that the car is in the condition I bought it in and I have big plans for the future both inside and out. I have only had the car for two weeks and I have been too busy driving it to be modifying it, plus I am broke after buying it!!! I have alrady replaced the front speakers and am planning a few more mods..... will keep you posted with the changes.
