No offence, but I wouldn't do a thing for at least three years.
Reasoning, they are nowhere near as good as they are cracked up to be.
We have had shitloads come through the workshop with all sorts of feckups.
Gearbox's, oil pump's, cylinder head's, thrust bearing's.
And above all, a whole heap of them came out with 11kW less than stated by factory.
Because of all of the stuff up's that these cars are experiencing, Toyota seems to be jumping on those that have modified the vehicle in any woy or form and denying their warranty claims.
Sorry for the shitty news, but the best of luck to you.

how much of that is caused by people abusing their cars like the nongs they truly are? certainly I don't think Toyota can be blamed for it all.
Am glad that they're enforcing the warranty terms!

ScreaminRolla has one with a TRD intake.
He's got 111kW at the front wheels, but that was before it went back to Toyota for the ECU change.
He's best fo giving you the goss tho.

My wife and i bought one back in August and we absolutely love it! The only thing that i worry about is that it is such a revvy engine that i can imagine because of that they may not be very long lived..what are peoples thoughts? also, has anybody found any hassles in the gear shifting? i have found at times that it just doesnt want to geardown...i mean it does go in but not as smooth as i would expect and at sometimes almost appears that the linkages stick...anybody experienced this? Ours went in the other day for the recall and had all the parts replaced for that....i find it much smoother to drive although i have found it revs much quicker...anybody else experienced that? i know this is also probably psychological but i have found the gear changes a lot smoother at high revs...before they were kinda jerky when you put the clutch in but now it's all a lot smoother...anybody else experienced this? How often would people who own one rev it up to 7+K? i mean i love going up in the rev range coz i feel they are so responsive at high revs but every time i do it (which isnt all that often) i worry that i'm doing some damage somewhere....it only has 4,500kms on the clock at the moment.....
Cheers
Dan
P.S: What about a turbo? after the 3yrs of course.....also, has anybody heard of the Corolla RunX? It is the Jap version of the Sportivo and comes out AWD

yeah we did screamin rolla's one; only we were slightly pissed off that he fitted the stock intake back on. So we had to remove the old one we put on the new on then he removed it thus a waste of about 1 hour my boss wouldve done a over the table exchange wouldve saved alot of time and effort. id atleast wait un till 5,000km untill i started to give it big revs though , we dont really get many other claims on these except for some tossa decided to cut his springs ( it looks fully sik bro ) and rooted his shox he wont be getting another set thanks to me
